Celebrate the magic of Christmas with Peppermint Square, a charming appliqué and patchwork quilt filled with nostalgic holiday details. Thirteen delightful appliqué scenes are nestled within a classic two-color Irish Chain, creating a quilt that feels both timeless and wonderfully festive.

From a sweet little mouse carrying a candle and an adorable Christmas bear to stockings, a boot overflowing with candy canes, and a vintage truck bringing home the Christmas tree, every block adds another touch of holiday whimsy. There is so much to discover as you make your way through this special quilt!

One of the things that makes Peppermint Square so much fun to create is how easily you can make it your own. Choose traditional Christmas reds, greens, and creams for a classic look, or give it a fresh, modern personality with pinks, aquas, soft neutrals, or any combination you love. Once you have selected your background and Irish Chain fabrics, many of the appliqué pieces can be created from small cuts and treasured scraps already in your stash.

The pattern includes full-size appliqué drawings, detailed photographs of each design, and step-by-step instructions for the appliqué, strip-set patchwork, and final quilt construction. Peppermint Square is structured like a Block of the Month, allowing you to enjoy the quilt one section at a time, but the entire project is included in one complete pattern set.

Whether you make it in traditional Christmas colors or create an entirely new palette of your own, Peppermint Square is designed to become more than just a holiday quilt. It is a one-of-a-kind Christmas keepsake to bring out, enjoy, and make your home feel a little more magical year after year.
