Q: Do you sell Fabric Kits?
A: Not currently, but we plan to carry some kits starting in the summer of 2008.
Q: Do you sell your Block of the Month patterns one month at a time?
A: No, currently we sell them only as one complete set, upon ordering, the entire pattern
is shipped all at once.
Q: What method of applique does Verna use?
A: Verna uses a traditional needle turn hand applique method.
Q: What original fabrics are used in Frolic, Faded Glory, Vintage Valentine,
Primavera, Happy Hauntings, Enchanted Autumn & Amelia's Rose Garden
A: Faded Glory- Border and several pieces are Prairie Paisley by Mimmick & Simpson for
Moda. Blue & White bias plaid is Mary Englebreit for Moda. White background with
stars is Hip, Hip, Hooray by Marcus Brothers. Blue Triple Ticking and Red Triple Ticking
is by Michael Miller. Soft backgrounds and subtle plaids are Simplicity by 3 Sisters for
Moda. Tiny checks and tiny stripes are Lecien Basics.
Frolic- Border is Barefoot Roses by Tanya Whelan for FreeSpirit. Other lines include
Sweet Escape by Verna Mosquera for FreeSpirit, Simplicity by 3 Sisters for Moda, Mrs.
March's In Antique by Lecien and Basics by Lecien.
Vintage Valentine- Bed of Roses by Robyn Pandolph for Moda.
Primavera- It is a combination of 3 Moda lines, Poetry by April Cornell, Faded
Memories by 3 Sisters and Old Fashioned Charm by Blackbird Designs.
Happy Hauntings- Cornucopia by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda & The Centenary
Collection by Lecien.
Amelias Rose Garden- Sweet Escape by Verna Mosquera for FreeSpirit Fabrics &
various 3 Sisters for Moda pastel lines.
Enchanted Autumn- No particular line was used to create this quilt. It is a selection
of romantic autumn colors, soft orange, browns, greens, plums & of course pink!
